| If you are not sure about whether to join, the Club provides the following services for our members: Information: Reassurance and guidance to new owners. Fun Days: Are held regularly for owners and their dogs to get together and socialise. This day is especially good for those who are thinking about getting a Vizsla as they can speak to the many pet owners who come along. Club Events: The club holds Championship Shows, an Obedience and Rally-O Trial, an Agility/Jumping Trial, and an Endurance Test annually. We also hold training days for some of these disciplines. Breed Information Stands: We have a Vizsla display at various events to promote the breed and help educate potential owners. Rescue Service/Rehoming: The club's rescue service cares for Vizslas, lost or needing a new home, until an appropriate new owner is available. For a variety of reasons, Vizslas sometimes require new homes, and older Vizslas are available occasionally through our Rescue service. Some prospective owners may prefer an older dog to a young puppy and people wanting to aquire an older Vizsla are matched with those available. |
